How does it work?
| 1. Come in and pick a piece of POTTERY.
2. Choose your colors and start painting.
We have plenty of design ideas including books, stencils, stamps and sponges.
3. When your finished, leave it with us and we treat your piece with a clear coat
of glaze and fire each piece making it shiny glass, fully functional and dinnerware safe.
Can we use this pottery?
| Yes, you can use your pieces as dishware, serving platters & bowls, cups, place settings and more! |
When did Pottery Painters Plus Open their first store?
| April 2003 was the GRAND Opening |
Is Pottery Painters Plus a franchise?
| No. Pottery Painters Plus is a privately owned business and personally run by the owners. When you come into our shop, you will be greeted by either JoAnne or Arlene. And we are always available to assist in your work. |
I have never painted on pottery before, will you help me out?
| Yes!! We will take you step by step in the process. Showing you how to sponge, stencil, use the wire tools, and how to use the puffy paint. We also have many books and finished pieces available to look at for ideas and to help you choose your design. |
Do I need to have an appointment?
| No. Walk ins are always welcome. But if you have a group you may want to call ahead so that we may try to seat all of your group at the same or adjoining tables. |
Is three years old too young to paint?
| No. We have had kids of all ages create "Masterpieces". We let a child paint in light colors and then we use a dark color to imprint their hand or foot print on the piece. Voila... a perfect one of a kind art work. Our youngest painters have been a 3 month old who (with their mom) ended up with a nice foot print. We have also had several people pickup pottery pieces and paint kits to take with them. Recently we had someone imprint the foot of a newly born 1 week old baby. |
Do you have parties?
| Yes!! Click on the parties menu to the left. |
